Derik- I think it's actually been printed for a little while too, which is the worst part. Just the vagaries of international shipping and production. I keep meaning to ask Stephen Robson why, if 90+ percent of his business is in North America, he doesn't just get the books printed in North America.

Bitter Matt: hah, thanks. I should probably do one of my own "overlooked manga" lists eventually. But then I'd have to include all 'overlooked' comics, and that would be the only thing I ever posted about again.

Nadine: Yay! Now you can come pick it up from us at the store. Haha! Another $8 generated for my employer through this blog.

Looking at the "A Late Freeze" art just gave me my girly glee moment for the week. It looks lovely.

I've never even heard of Times of Botchan. It sounds like something I have to read. Where would I be without this blog?

[...] Brandon’s King City is new and shipping March 14th from Tokyo Pop and here is an 8 page preview at Publisher’s Weekly. Here’s a nice little write up from Christopher Butcher, manager of the world-class comics store The Beguiling. Brandon has a page here. [...]
