I read the first 100 pages (in english!) of A DRIFTING LIFE a few weeks ago, and it is utterly amazing. It's not just about Tatsumi (or even the origins of gekiga and manga)... it's about the history of post-war Japan. SO. FUCKING. GOOD. YES!
