Wow, good catch. I didn't notice that myself.

I'm going to mail DC and cut the hell out of my orders.

"COVER RUN: THE DC COMICS ART OF ADAM HUGHES.
this will collect all of Hughes covers in one place"

Nope, "Collecting the best of Adam Hughes’s spectacular, sexy covers"

"Should basically sell-itself, so long as the presentation and printing are up to snuff."

6.75” X 10.25
An art-book in comic-book size? Shouldn't it be oversized?

"Because, it would be nice if they could just put out 'stories' every once in a while."

Ha. Ha, ha. Wouldn't it. :-)

"So FALL OF THE HULKS leads into WORLD WAR HULKS? But FALL OF THE HULKS: SHE HULKS is still going on when the WWH book starts. Poor planning, or just a mini-series redundant to the main 'through' of the series?"

I'm going to go with "C, both of the above plus the whole thing is just a ludicrous shit mess."

In seriousness, though, doesn't it seem, while flipping through Marvel previews lately, that there's just tremendous duplication, at event level, group level, single-issue level, everywhere?

It's like any one "thing" in any of these categories seems to be accompanied by three, four, five or more others which are largely variants (not even counting covers) of it. Like Marvel is just publishing all of their ideas now, rather than making any attempt to make decisions about the best way to do a story. The best way is apparently "all of the above?"

Maybe they're right, too, but I don't envy you, good retailer who has to keep track of this flabby anarchy.

So the question is, how many copies of the Beasts of Burden HC do I have to buy to convince Dark Horse that the world needs another mini?

I ordered a bunch, but yeah, it's a no-frills large-sized reprint. Gonna save my breath for volume 3, which apparently has 300 pages of extras or something crazy like that.
