In this case this “snack bar” is not selling snack foods. It is is a kind of hostess bar where female employees flirt with male customers.

Oh how I miss Nakano Broadway…
The sign says “sunaku” meaning they selling snack foods…
And then it says “Mugi and “ne-Moomin” which James translated, though I think Mugi is the Moomin’s name?

My reading of the sign is “Barley and Moominsister Snack Bar”. This may not be what it actually says or anything.

Is this the street that runs along the right of Nakano Broadway? I had some interesting food at an Okinawan restaurant there.
