Dan Clowes wrapped up his run on The New York Times’ Funny Pages this week, with his 20 page story Mister Wonderful. It has a really surprising tone compared to some of his other work, and I thought the ending had a real humanity to it that I have to admit, I found surprising. Can a Dan Clowes strip have a happy ending?
